About the role
‍

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Motion Designer with a strong background in sports to join our creative team, working for one of our biggest clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both motion design and sports, bringing their creative flair to life through dynamic and engaging visual content. This role involves collaborating with senior designers and other team members to produce high-quality motion graphics for various platforms, including social media, broadcast, and digital campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and Animation: Create and animate motion graphics for sports-related content, including but not limited to marketing collateral, promotional videos, social media posts, and in-game graphics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, including senior motion designers, graphic designers, and video editors, to ensure consistency and quality across all visual content.‍
• Concept Development: Assist in brainstorming and developing creative concepts for motion design projects, with a focus on sports themes.‍
• Editing and Refinement: Edit and refine existing motion graphics to enhance visual appeal and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.‍
• Asset Management: Organize and manage design assets, ensuring that all files are properly stored and easily accessible.‍
• Research and Inspiration: Stay updated with the latest trends in motion design and sports media, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.‍
• Feedback Integration: Receive and incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders to improve and polish designs.

Qualifications

‍

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.‍
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in motion design, preferably with a focus on sports content.‍
• Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a plus.‍
• Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing your motion design work, especially projects related to sports.‍
• Creative Skills: Strong sense of visual aesthetics, typography, and storytelling through motion graphics.‍
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.‍
• Passion for Sports: A deep understanding of and enthusiasm for sports, with the ability to translate this passion into engaging visual content.‍
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
