About the role

As a senior member of the team you will lead and inspire a group of talented and passionate individuals, dedicated to partnering with you to create excellent work. You will be hands on from the concept to delivery. You are the sort of person who enjoys making sense of a client brief, as well as relishing the detail, to produce creative, crafted and thoughtful design.


  • Creativity – Delivering conceptual work to the highest creative standards. Able to translate strategic thinking into relevant, unique and creative work. Should be curious and pull together visual and cultural references to define ideas.
  • Delivery – Organising activities, task flow and responsibilities within projects to ensure deadlines and timelines are met.
  • Client Management – Coordinate and assist the Design Director to plan client projects, presentations and attending client meetings.
  • Leadership – Be able to lead, manage, inspire and delegate. Be comfortable in leading and being led.
  • Communication– Talking passionately and confidently to clients and colleagues about our work, with a hunger to take the lead in internal and client meetings.
  • Best Practise – Working closely with Design Director and often senior members of staff to help develop and nurture the creative studio and creative standards. Contribute to inspiring a culture of creativity and digital innovation.
  • Mentoring – Motivating, nurturing and inspiring the junior team members. Attend events and universities to find emerging talent.

  • Work on your own initiative to drive innovative & distinct designs to bring brands to life.
  • Present design to clients and confidently explain creative rationale.
  • Convert ideas from the client brief into viable concepts and designs.

  • You’ll have a strong appreciation for brand philosophy and values.


  • 6+ years’ design agency experience
  • Have a Bachelor of Arts degree in design, communication design/ equivalent professional qualification/ work experience in graphic design or branding
  • Knowledge in creative/design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, motion graphics, Sketch, 3D, Cinema 4D, Flash, or HTML/CSS.
  • Award winning portfolio and noted creative/branding agency experience.
