Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze features on our first cover, opening up about returning to his boyhood club and the role of faith in his life, while the second celebrates the 25 best teen sensations in the Champions League this season

For our 25th issue, the Champions Journal team has taken their pick of the 25 teens that have most impressed so far. Over 50 teenagers have featured in the Champions League this season, with many already writing the headlines. Lennart Karl is now Bayern’s youngest Champions League scorer after firing in against Club Brugge and also netting against Arsenal, Sporting CP’s Geovany Quenda showed his quality with a mazy dribble and goal against Kairat Almaty, and of course Lamine Yamal remains top of the class, adding one of his own for the highlight reel on Matchday 4.

The magazine’s other cover goes to Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze, back at his boyhood club and an integral part of the Gunners’ current success in the Champions League and Premier League. On the theme of homecomings, we also speak to Xabi Alonso and José Mourinho on their returns to Real Madrid and Benfica. Elsewhere, we tuck into empanadas with OM’s trio of Argentinians in Marseille, brave the cold in the Arctic Circle with Bodø/Glimt and turn back the clock on one of the greatest final performances of them all – Ferenc Puskás’ four- goal flurry for Real Madrid in 1960.
